ABLE Shortlisted for EIC Technology Award 2017

ABLE has been shortlisted for the EIC Technology Award 2017 as part of its Survive and Thrive initiative.

The project throws the spotlight on those companies that have shown the determination to ‘stay in the game’ and even prosper and grow under challenging market conditions. ABLE submitted it’s invention of the “Master” Series of innovative flow measurement products as an example of where it has stepped outside the confines of a typical instrumentation company when solving customer problems.

The MasterTM Series of instrumentation uses a patented dual measurement, intelligent algorithm to resolve demanding application challenges and consistently deliver accurate flow measurements during process upsets and fluctuations in composition which would defeat conventional meters. The series includes the SlugMasterTM Intelligent Ultrasonic Flow Meter, the PhaseMasterTM, which delivers individual phase component measurements in a multiphase environment, and the MudMasterTM Drilling Mud Outflow Analyser.

In short, the story of the MasterTM Series development epitomises the invention, adaptability, entrepreneurialism and tenacity required to endure and flourish during these difficult times.

The winner will be announced, and presentations made, at the EIC National Awards Dinner on 12th October 2017 at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London, where 400 Energy Sector peers are expected to attend and the revered comedian Jimmy Carr is the guest speaker.
