Office Administrator

Location: Lower Earley, Reading, Berkshire

The Role

Administration work to include:
– Areas of Nominal Ledger
– Stock Adjustments and Valuation
– Fixed Assets
– Intrastat returns
– Nominal Journal entries
– Credit card/ expenses control
– LC’s / Certs of Origin
– Bank Guarantees

Other duties to include:
– Filing
– Answering phones and greeting visitors
– Support for other employees during absence

The Successful Candidate

Conscientious, self motivated, who is capable of working on their own initiative, well organised, have experience in Sage 200 and Microsoft Office software systems, and have experience in accounts and office admin functions.

Field Service/Support Engineer

The Package

Job Description

To service, maintain, install, commission and calibrate field mounted Instrumentation. Additionally assisting site personnel and acting as consultant and troubleshooting when necessary. You will be required to attend any customer sites located within the UK and overseas (onshore & offshore) covering the Oil & Gas and Process Industries.

The Candidate

A reliable, well-organised, confident and enthusiastic individual. The successful candidate will be well presented, highly organised, outgoing and able to use their initiative and problem solving abilities to complete their responsibilities accurately, appropriately and conscientiously and with the minimum of supervision.

Qualifications

HNC or equivalent in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation or Industrial Measurement & Control.

Background

Relevant apprenticeship, plus experience in the maintenance, calibration, installation and commissioning of process measurement devices, e.g. pressure, temperature, level and flow, plus some analytical equipment.

Note

Initial product training will be provided, and on a continuous basis.

Area Sales Engineer

Location: Within the UK

The Role

Assuming control of all existing and potential customers within a given territory. Exploiting maximum business opportunities with customers.
Taking responsibility for maintaining and exceeding sales targets within the sales area.
Participating in sales activities including: customer site visits, telephone and email contact, trade shows and exhibitions, product demonstrations and customer seminars.
Producing sales forecasts in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
Maintaining customer activity files on a CRM database.
Identifying, developing, and maintaining new opportunities.
Influencing technology selection at early design stages of new or planned projects.

The Candidate

Proven track record in industrial or process sales of similar products and services.
Capable of communicating and establishing strong relationships at various levels of business – e.g. instrumentation & process engineers, procurement personnel, project managers, site maintenance and operators.
Computer literate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Conscientious, self motivated achiever, who is capable of working on own initiative.

Internal Sales Engineer

The Role

To proactively sell the company’s range of process instrumentation and analytical equipment by producing technically and commercially competent quotations to a high standard and within agreed deadlines. Additional duties will include the provision of sales support and technical information to customers and routine follow up of quotations and sales leads via telephone and email. Occasional attendance at customer sites and exhibitions within the UK may also be required.

The Candidate

A confident, enthusiastic and self motivated individual with the ability to work independently and within a team environment. A desire to achieve consistently high results alongside good organisational and communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential as is a highly professional approach to meeting and exceeding customer expectations. A sales background in instrumentation, engineering or a similar technical environment would be preferred; or someone with relevant technical experience who is keen to establish a career in sales – in short, a good communicator with a professional outlook who can integrate and make a positive impact to our sales team.

Qualifications

A good educational background. An ONC/HNC or equal in an engineering or scientific discipline would be advantageous.

Graduate Engineer

The Role

Due to our continued growth, we require a Graduate Engineer reliable, well-organised, confident and enthusiastic individual willing to take on a hands on role with the objective of proceeding to a Service Engineering role. This will entail offshore and overseas travel and for which excellent allowances are provided.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be well presented, highly organised, outgoing and able to use their initiative and problem solving abilities to complete their responsibilities accurately, appropriately and conscientiously and with the minimum of supervision within a high pressure environment.

Qualifications

A good degree in an engineering/scientific field or HND/HNC in instrumentation is preferred.

Personal

Confident, outgoing and well organised, with drive, initiative and enthusiasm. A willingness to learn and develop new skills. Ability to contribute to, and work as part of the team, but also the ability to work unassisted. Strong organisation, coordination and project management skills. Demonstrable understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office applications. Good written and verbal language skills.
