Two of their Australian labs have already purchased systems, whilst the recent formal evaluation by CAT Corporate in the US affirms their reputation and position with the company.

All of their S.O.S. labs around the globe will be sent the evaluation results by CAT Corporate with a view to adopting the Canty InFlow across the board.

The arrangement with CAT is not exclusive so ABLE & Canty will be speaking to other large plant machinery suppliers such as Komatsu, JCB, Liebherr & John Deere.

The InFlow lube oil measuring principle is as per ASTM D7596 & D8049 with the data reporting to ISO4406.

This registration ensures that all WirelessHART users will be to add Vanguard device drivers the next time they update their device descriptor (DD) libraries. It also assures users that they can add Vanguard systems to existing WirelessHART networks, seamlessly and securely.

The HART communication protocol is the largest digital communications network deployed in the process industries with 40 million field instruments supporting HART technology installed worldwide. The FieldComm Group owns the HART specifications and provides development and training as well as device registration.

The Vanguard detector uses a system of field-interchangeable gas sensor modules to detect methane (CH4), hydrogen sulphide (H2S) carbon monoxide (CO), ammonia (NH3) and non-methane hydrocarbon gases.

Offshore Europe 2019 Thu, 19 Sep 2019 10:33:40 +0000 Having recently returned from exhibiting at Offshore Europe 2019, the ABLE team can report that the new venue in Bucksburn, Aberdeen offered easy access, an improved infrastructure and superior facilities to the old AECC at Bridge of Don.

We can also confirm that the show witnessed a much-increased footfall when compared to the 2017 event, with traffic on the ABLE stand being constant throughout the three-and-a-half-day show.

ABLE’s stand, which was the subject of many admiring comments from other exhibitors and customers alike, featured the ground-breaking FlareMaster, Flare Metering Enhancement Tool, which is gaining significant momentum amongst North Sea O & G operators.

Whilst many of ABLE’s established customers came to check out the latest innovations and additions to our product portfolio, new customers were attracted by the recent announcement that ABLE had taken on the role of Magnetrol’s new partner for exclusive distribution and support in the UK & Ireland. ABLE’s custom built display rig featured Magnetrol’s Eclipse Guided Wave Radar (GWR), Pulsar Air Firing Radar and Aurora Magnetic Level Gauge/GWR combo.

ABLE FlareMaster gains momentum in the North Sea Thu, 15 Aug 2019 15:59:30 +0000 ABLE’s FlareMaster flare metering enhancement tool has now been installed on several North Sea platforms. Flaremaster’s modular design, in its fully realised form, provides a dual redundancy, supervisory system designed to optimise the performance of the current generation of ultrasonic flare gas meters.

FlareMaster’s Enhanced Density Module (EDM), which allows the operator to provide the Flare Gas Meter with full gas stream density inputs in order to negate the effects of density distorting gas compositions, has already proved highly effective in reducing measurement uncertainty. For one North Sea Oil & Gas operator, this has already led to significant improvements in the accuracy of Green House Gas emissions reporting and consequent Tier 3 compliance.

Several operators have also implemented FlareMaster DataFlow, a sophisticated data gathering and analysis tool which facilitates remote interrogation and parallel monitoring of multiple FGMs from a safe area. The user is provided with a real time display of process data, including mass and standard volume flow, velocity, process temperature and pressure. Historical records of measured and calculated data are easily accessible.

Finally, ABLE will shortly be commissioning FlareMaster System Option 1 for a high-profile North Sea operator.  System Option 1, which overlays the EDM/DataFlow software package, equips the FlareMaster with a data repair capability for when process challenges such as transducer contamination compromise the measurement. It also provides dynamic gas compressibility adjustment and an extended velocity range.

FlareMaster is designed to sustain measurement in the face of those process upsets that defeat all ultrasonic FGMs.
