Sight Glass - JM Canty FuseView

ABLE Instruments are the exclusive UK representative for the JM Canty range of FuseView Sight Glass, offering ‘industrial’ and ‘sanitary’ sight glass. These products can be used as tank sight glass, vessel sight glass with LEDs, level indicators and inline. Some products can also be used in low or high-temperature environments.

FuseView Industrial Sight Glass

All standard Fuseviews feature Factory Mutual approval and were designed and tested to ensure the safest product available. We can provide certification of material and testing if required, typical of ASME code requirements for process vessels.

FuseView Sanitary Sight Glass

Fuseview Tri-clamps are a fused sight glass providing one-piece construction with no additional gaskets or torquing required. All standard Tri-clamp Fuseviews feature Factory Mutual approval and were designed and tested to ensure the safest product available. Again, we can provide certification of material and testing if required, typical of ASME code requirements for process vessels.

All CANTY sight glasses feature the Fuse View window which represents the most robust of its product type available. This unique fused glass window far exceeds all conventional types of tempered glass windows in performance. It also increases safety over the traditional tempered glass or plastic windows used in aseptic and sanitary applications. By fusing glass with metal, a high-pressure, high-safety, hermetic seal is formed. The fused glass technology ensures very high impact strength and thermal shock resistance. It also eliminates the chance of catastrophic failure due to bolt-up. What is more, our windows can easily be removed for cleaning. CANTY windows do not have to be discarded, as do traditional tempered glass windows; CANTY fused glass windows can be re-used with easily operated fittings and features such as locking rings for ease of mounting.

Fuseviews are made with excellent corrosion-resistant high nickel Alloy C, Hastelloy® C276 or equal, Hastelloy® C-22® or equal. We can provide certification for material traceability and testing if required.
