Details
Rumaila is the largest producing oilfield in Iraq and a “super-giant”. Average daily production for 2015 was 1.34 million barrels per day (bpd), part of an ongoing trend that has seen daily production rise from around 950,000 bpd in 2010 when BP began work. Rumaila now delivers more than a third of Iraq’s oil.

ABLE supplied special design subsea V-Cones with dual DP’s for redundancy and electrical umbilicals. DP enclosures were insulated and heated to prevent cooling of impulse lines.
