V-Cone Calibration
Overview
ABLE Instruments provide calibration services for McCrometer V-Cone Flow Meters which we recommend happens prior to the V-Cone Flow Meters entering service.
Calibration should take place under conditions resembling as close as possible those of actual operation. Tests will be performed for accuracy of flow indication over several test points from minimum to maximum flow and for Flow Coefficient over the corresponding Reynolds Number range. This will characterise the meter and minimise uncertainty. Traceable calibration verifies that the meter has been manufactured to the specified tolerances.
