  • Energy Industries Council – EIC

    The EIC is a trade association for UK companies supplying goods and services to the energy industries worldwide. Established in 1943, the EIC has over 600 member companies and provides them with the capability to identify and pursue global business opportunities. The EIC membership comprises contractors and suppliers from all areas of the energy sector.

  • First point assessment – FPAL

    FPAL works to identify, qualify, evaluate, and monitor suppliers on behalf of its purchasing members. FPAL build and support buyer-supplier communities in the oil & gas industry, creating an effective Supply Chain network. Their services for sustainable procurement help create opportunities for business and reduce risk in the supply chain.

  • Institute of Measurement & Control – IMC

    The Institute of Measurement and Control is a British learned society. It began in the 1940s as the Society of Instrument Technology. It is a licensed member of Engineering Council UK, registering candidates as chartered engineers, incorporated engineers and engineering technicians.

  • International Organisation for Standardisation, ISO 9001

    This ISO9001 standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.

  • Joscar Registered

    JOSCAR (the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register) is a collaborative tool used by the aerospace, defence and security industry to act as a single repository for pre-qualification and compliance information. Using JOSCAR can determine if a supplier is “fit for business”.

  • The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management

    The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM), is the professional body which represents over 7,000 waste professionals working in the sustainable resources and wastes management sectors- predominantly in the UK but also overseas. CIWM sets the professional standards for individuals working in the industry and has various grades of membership determined by education, qualification and experience.

  • UVDB – Utilities Vendor Database

    Achilles services are used by companies from power generation, transmission and distribution, nuclear, water, telecom and gas industries. Initially developed to deal with sourcing and qualifying suppliers, today’s services are increasingly addressing wider issues, not only of health and safety, but also of CSR and climate change.
