CETCO Process Equipment’s produced water analysis & treatment systems are capable of addressing all aspects of separating or treating gas, oil and water from a production stream. In order to assist their client base with maintaining oil in water (OIW) discharge compliance and achieving real time online analysis of solids (size and concentration), CETCO contracted ABLE Instruments & Controls Ltd to supply two of their Canty Transportable INFLOW vision-based systems. Combining the latest in CCD Ethernet, microscopic camera technology with high intensity LED lighting and CANTYVISION Intelligent Software, the INFLOW captures and analyses images of the process fluid whereby the suspended particulates (oil, water, gas bubbles) are measured against a number of different parameters to provide size, shape and concentration data. Remote HMIs are provided by ABLE supplied ATEX rated Aegex tablets. The Canty systems will be used to replace a competitor’s vision system which uses a purged enclosure to achieve ATEX compliance and tend to leak on loss of pressure.
