ABLE's float level switch offers a modular design which is a unique deviation from conventional level switch construction.

The 3-modular design provides problem solutions for any application.

The 3 modules - switch, flange and float module, can be supplied in countless variants and have proved themselves for years through their reliability in an extremely wide range of sectors (chemicals, petrochemicals, off-shore, power plant construction, shipbuilding, industrial installation).

Switch modules are available with electric, electronic or pneumatic output signals.

The interchange ability of the single modules allows high flexibility regarding maintenance or changing application requirements.

The glandless design permits online maintenance of all dry-side components whilst the wetside is subject to full process conditions.

The float level switch modules
are fitted with a microswitch, initiators or with pneumatic valves, are available in IP65 to IP68 and the housing is available in sea-water resistant die-cast aluminium or in stainless steel. For hazardous areas, hermetically sealed micro switches, flameproof housings or pneumatic switch modules can be used.

The benefit of the hinged cover, the captive screws and the self lifting terminal clamps is an easy installation.

For convenience of wiring, the connection diagram is shown on the inside of the hinged lid and where space permits, on the outside nameplate also.

The flange modules
are available to DIN, ANSI, BS, JIS or BESTA standard. The wetside parts are either made of stainless steel, Hastelloy C, PP or PTFE.

The float modules
are determined according to function, operating pressure and minimal medium density and like the flanges are available in various high-quality materials.

Unlimited switch combinations
Whether mounted on the side, from above or in a bypass, the modular design always makes it possible to achieve switch combinations for specific applications. This modularity permits customized solutions.

The Trimod Besta level switches and controllers can be used in a wide range of control and limiting functions.

Approvals
The Trimod Besta level switches are also available in explosion-protected design and/or in accordance with Directive 97/23/EG (PED/DGR) Module B and D (C).

So far, several thousand ABLE level switches have been sold in the UK. The float movement caused by the raise and fall of the liquid level is transmitted by two repelling, permanent AINiCo magnets.

The sturdy design and the double snap effect as a result of the magnetic repulsion and the snap action of the micro switch guarantee a virtually unlimited lifetime.

The float modules, like all wetted parts, are made of stainless steel, Hastelloy C or high quality plastics. A wide range of floats are available to suit various densities and pressure ranges for almost any process condition.
